Sarah Roby writes poetry. Her latest collection is The Straight Man. Her books are published by Templar Poetry, an independent press with an innovative aesthetic. The Straight Man is available here.

Sarah is a recipient of a writer’s award from Arts Council England. She won a place on the national Escalator Poetry scheme for new writers, as judged by Sean O’Brien and Mimi Khalvati. She secured a hat trick in the Mslexia Poetry Competition having won, placed second and been shortlisted. Her work has featured in The Poetry Review and national poetry competitions. Her book, This Afternoon and I, won the iSHOT Award for poetry pamphlets. Sarah lives in Norwich with her husband and son.
